Design and Looks
The phone sports a nice simple and cute design . The phone weighs about 89gms with good build quality. The phone sports three buttons on the front below the screen. The keys included are the Call and an End key on the either side of the Launch button.
The phone has a slight sloping at the bottom and it gives the phone a nice distinct front look and improving the handling. The rest of the panel is taken by the 3” display. The left side of the phone comprises of volume rocker, the universal connectivity port and the lanyard eyelet. The right houses the shutter key and the lock key.
The display comprises of the 3" 256K-color resistive touch screen display of WQVGA resolution. The touch screen is of resistive technology and is a bit harder to tap to get a response. There are various settings on the phone for the touch screen feedback. Haptic feedback or a tone with a click is accepted. The phone offers good image quality with decent brightness levels.
The phone sports a custom flash based UI and is very easy to use. The interface is fast and responsive and has no lags or delays. It comes with dual home screen , the first one supporting the widgets and the other one with contacts. The UI animations and menu transitions are pleasing and would be liked by most.
Coming to the phone's multimedia capability, the phone supports a standard video playback. The music player supports album art and also has EQ presets. It supports all the features and it can sort tracks according to artist, album, genre, and recently played etc. You can also create custom playlists. Also the music player can be minimized to run in the background as a widget. The phone also comes along with FM radio and RDS support.
The phone sports a 3 Mega Pixel Camera and captures images at a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. It records videos at QVGA resolution at 12FPS. No flash is included on the camera.
With regards to its connectivity the phone does not support Wi-Fi or 3G. The browser on the phone is average and the phone comes along with bundled games too. The phone is powered by a standard Li Ion 900 mAh battery. The phone lasts about 2.5 days with moderate usage.
