Design and Looks
The phone is no ways slim and comes at 14.8 mm thickness but the design and the compact form factor makes it easy to slip through any pockets. With a flip form factor , the phone is very long when opened and wide too, which makes it a little while getting used to grip the phone.
The alphanumeric keyboard on the phone is widely spread and huge, this makes typing on the LG KF350 an excellent experience. The D-pad is separated from the keypad but the camera button is poorly situated at the 'cancel' button on the phone.
The rights side of the phone houses the microSD card slot which is protected by a silvery plastic.
The screen on the LG KF350 is 2.2 inches and comes with 240x320 pixels with the ability to display 256K colours. The phone also sports a secondary external light-matrix type display. This feature is the highlight of the phone, a message can be edited in the settings tab and the same message is displayed on the external screen when it's flipped down. The message is not limited to just letters but icons can also be created and symbols too.
The internal memory on the phone is about 30Mb and comes along with a microSD slot. On the communication front the phone comes equipped with GPRS , EDGE but does not support 3G or Wireless. There is however Bluetooth with A2DP and USB version 2.0 built in KF350.
The camera on the phone is a 3.15MP and can shoot images with a maximum resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. The video on the phone can be shot with QVGA quality at 15fps. The phone includes an ordinary MP3 player and can play a lot of audio formats. There is also the FM Radio included with the phone which comes as a good added feature.
The phone comprises of web browser, email composer, calculator, alarm clock and 2 games. The RSS reader and Google Map are also included. The browser on the phone is capable of browsing normal WAP pages and but nothing more can be expected with the HTML content as the browser fails to deliver it in a right manner considering the form factor.
Overall the phone is a mid range phone with a fashion statement. The phone comes along with decent features and makes it a good option for the consumer liking the flip form factor with average features.
