Design and Looks
The LG GM730 has a bright large screen, which covers almost the entire front face of the phone. Below the large screen there are short-cut keys to receive and end calls. The touch screen itself measures 3 inches in size diagonally and has a screen resolution of 240x400 pixels. The overall size of the phone is 109.8mm tall, 56.5mm wide and 11.9mm deep which makes it very easy to handle or grip the phone.
The left side comprises volume controls while on the right there is the power button and camera shortcut. Also on the right included is the micro-USB port for charging , syncing and connecting a wired headset.
The camera of the LG GM730 is the 5 mega pixels with Schneider Kreuznach optics and autofocus. The 3 inch screen makes taking and viewing pictures extremely easy.
On the interface, the home screen consists of five pages, which can rotate by swiping fingers horizontally. The interface works fine and gives access to widgets, quick access to favorite contacts and even music stored on the phone.
The phone has a built-in music player that supports all the popular formats, and also an FM Radio.
On the connectivity side, the phone includes HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS for navigation. As it uses Microsoft's mobile OS, many features such as Bluetooth, Office document support and integration with Outlook are supported over PC.
The build in GPS receiver is easy to use and only adds to the phone's functionality. This makes the GM730 a valuable navigation tool to carry around. The secondary camera is clear enough for video calling.
Overall the phone has failed a little on the camera specification but still features a good responsive and fast user interface which is worth noticing on the phone.
